A piece of the sea in alpine surroundings ...

Lake Maggiore is located in the Italian regions of Piedmont and Lombardy as well as in the Swiss canton of Ticino. With a length of 66 km, it is Italy's 2nd largest lake.

La Dolce Vita in beautiful surroundings

The mild climate, the enchanting landscape, and its history are certain to make a stay in Ronco a unique and unforgettable experience. Our hotel is the ideal starting point for boat rides. The boat dock is right in front of the house, and the opportunities by boat are rich in variety.

We recommend a visit to the Brissago islands with their botanical park, or you can go an excursion to the Borromean islands (2 hrs. by boat) or various markets in Italy (on Sunday in Cannobio, on Wednesday in Luino, on Saturday in Verbania).

By foot, we recommend taking the trail to Ronco and from here through Monte Verità  to Ascona. You can travel back by bus or boat.

We also suggest setting out on the Ronco-Brissago tour (a 2 hr. hike up- and downhill and through the forest, with magnificent views). The village of Ronco with its 2 churches and old alleyways is always worth a visit. In summer and autumn, the mountains of Ronco (Alpe Casone, Naccio, Pizzo Leone, Rasa) are perfect for hiking.
